Επιτομή: | The aim of this dissertation is to study the alternative forms of tourism with focus on wine and agrotourism and how much developed in Greece. This alternative way of tourism has been chosen to present a different type of tourism from the one that is already known but also to mention some small differences between agrοtourism and wine tourism. Agrοtourism has to do with the direct contact of the visitor with the rural life, the crops, the accommodation in a farm-hostel, the flora and the fauna while the wine tourism includes the taste, the consumption, the purchase of a wine from the place of production or from somewhere nearby. The difference between agrοtourism and wine tourism is that in wine tourism visits are made to vineyards and wineries where the visitor can taste wines or can participate in the grape harvest also known as vine harvest. |
