Hydroponic growing is a method of cultivating without the need of soil and the main advantage is the constant supply of plants with water. The efficiency that describes it and the sustainability that it can promise makes it essential to be considered the best and only way of growing in the future to fulfill increased need of production. The method examined in the formerly commercially established floating disk system. The objective of this dissertation is to evaluate the growth of seedlings of one of the highest marketed crops in Greece, the tobacco. The aim here is to evaluate it! growing tobacco seedlings under greenhouse conditions in the floating hydroponic systems is a efficient way of producing ideal crops of transplanting.en_US
