Abstract: This study involves collecting sounds from various urban areas of Thessaloniki. Participants will create their own soundscapes based on their acoustic preferences for different indoor and outdoor spaces, such as local parks, pedestrian streets, public squares, cafes, and transportation hubs. As an example, this paper investigates how participant-designed soundscapes can help in the creation of future urban parks that are near people's presences findings are expected to contribute to the improvement of sustainable and user-friendly green spaces in Thessaloniki.
