Abstract: The present work investigated the effect of Agro-NB on lettuce grown in different soil type with a brief background on lettuce: horticultural horticulture history, agricultural importance and nutritional values. A vegetable that has been in use from time immemorial, and is nutritionally beneficial to the human body is lettuce, yet the crop has got to overcome the cruel hand of climate change and the quality of the soil. Technologically advanced strategies as the NB irrigation which optimizes the supply of oxygen to plant root systems and the improved soils nutrient accessibility are discussed. The literature reviews show how-to-grow information that touches on informative factors such as, soil and climate conditions of lettuce production, problems like pest and diseases, and the economic information with factors like production cost and prices of lettuce. Specifically, this research seeks to establish effects of different NB treatments in relation to lettuce yield and quality with a view of providing the necessary information in the advancement of sustainable agriculture.
