dc.description.abstract | This research consist of two parts. Both parts are the same procedure. These two parts of the studies (experiments), were conducted at the Greenhouse Laboratories of Perrotis College, a division of the American Farm School of Thessaloniki, Greece. Within the context of these studies, the evaluation of the pleurotus mycelium mushroom occurs under three different treatments. The treatments includes the different combination of substrate types: 100% straw, 90% straw and 10% corn and 85% straw and 15% clover. The mushrooms weights, heights are evaluating throughout a three – month experiment as well as the mycelium mushrooms resistance under a steady weather conditions due to undesirable situation that occurred in the study area. After the destruction of this study, the total production of the mushrooms was measured, and the results are presented in this paper. Results of the study had statistically significant differences recording weight. Results showed that the substrate with the combination of clover (85% straw and 15% clover) yielded more than the other two substrates (100% straw and 90% straw with 10% corn scraps). | en_US |
