Abstract: | This paper presents the results of two questionnaire instruments, one for knowledge sharing attitudes among librarian and one focused on digital libraries as knowledge management systems. The results derived from surveys undertaken in four European countries, indicate a positive attitude of librarians towards accepting digital libraries as knowledge management systems. Librarians also exhibit stronger intrinsic rather than extrinsic motivation to share knowledge in the workplace. |
