Abstract: | This project is going to talk to you about the effect for different planting dates on cover crops, because for instance a small period of days of lateness or even of earliness could make the plants be better in quality and quantity or one of them. There were used five different seeds for the experiment, rye, vetch and oats, tritimix, lollium, avex and rye. There were four different planting dates that they have 12 - 15 days difference in dates, form 8th of December which was the first plating, to 23th of January which was the final planting. This experiment was done at a field of Perrotis College. The data that were gathered are analyzed in tables and pies in the results and discussion sector. The aim of this study is to understand what different would make a few weeks in cover crops. Because there are crops that even with bit of earliness in planting or with a bit lateness in planting, would have better quality or bigger quantities. The experimental part will be done in a field in Perrotis College and will be used as a case study for measurements. The equipment of the Precision Agriculture Laboratory will be used, to obtain data in the form of NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), in different stages of the planting time in cover crops to measure at various growth stages. To understand the effectiveness and the efficiency of the planting time and management on cover crops. |
