dc.description.abstract | City farming is considered the revolution of agriculture. Despite the fact that urban agriculture existing for hundreds of years in recent years have been evolved and became the solution to problems related with poverty, hunger and feeding the global population growth. Moreover, city farming gained many supporters the last few years due to increasing demand for healthier and ecological friendlier cities. In addition to that, city farming became a global philosophy or way of thinking due to numerous problems that population has to face. Those problems are mostly environmental problems as well as the increasing of human health risks of modern world. Finally, city farming is a prospective aiming to reduce those problems and establish a healthier way of living for everyone including environment and humans. Thus, city farming should not be considered like making cities more beautiful but as a way to produce and contributed in sustainability of the ecosystem inside overcrowded cities. This can be attained by combining farming inside cites which assists in the reduction of environmental social, and economical problems. | en_US |
