The last years the olive production has been increased especially in Greek area. More and more people deal with it in a professional level every year. It is true that the olive production undergone many changes in the way in which harvesting and planting are carried out. In 2010 in Perrotis College a new educational and research olive grove established in order to examine the new olive production system according to the three planting densities (PD), the irrigation and the fertility inputs treatments in the two most common and famous olive varieties adapted for high density system which can stand the mechanical harvesting. By using the Vernier caliper we measure the olives trunk diameter. The purpose of the experiment is to find out how the applied treatments affect the olive trees growth and yield.en_US
