Επιτομή: | This dissertation deals with nerin und around remote sensing technologies utilization to delineate Management Zones (MZs) based on a Vegetation Index. The introduction of this dissertation involves basic information and facts about precision agriculture, remote sensing, Technologies and management zonel M concept while in the literature review the referred issues are presented extensively with the addition of highlighting the provision of vegeancom Indeces (Vis), more specifically about the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NOVU Remote sensing technologies in combination with Geographic Information Systems (Gls) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) constitute the basic tools in order to apply precision agriculture (PA). The combination of certain remote sensing technologies derived from different kind equipment has been proved to offer better pri interpretation. More specifically the data derived from the ground sensor for this dissertation after processing with related software became two maps of management zones (MZS) and the image captured from te UAV contributed less but significantly by obtaining and presenting one image. The data where in the form of NDVI which is one of the most common Vis as it shows the health status of the plant at certain moment of time through the indication of a percentage that represents vegetation (greenness'). The objective was accomplished as big variability was observed in the AFS olive grove concerning the NDVI which is related to the impacts of additional factors such as soil characteristics and in addition the establishment of MZs was succeeded. Eventually the variability observed can be monitored by utilizing the provided map and image products as guidelines in order to implement probably variable rate technology (VRT) systems and the provided soil analysis was useful to find a possible reason of noticing specific differences. |
