Abstract: Recently, people have been putting effort into considering the social responsibilities that large corporations have. This is one major reason for putting pressure on companies by making them start using CSR policy. The aim of this dissertation was to determine the extent to which a particular dairy company, Koukaki's S.A. Farm, located in Kato Apostoli, Kilkis, (Greece) has managed to implement the six dimensions of integrating CSR policy into strategy. For a better understanding, some literature on CSR policy is presented focusing on the following areas of the topic: what CSR is and its alternative definitions, the reasons why businesses are adopting CSR policy, weather there is any empirical evidence of its success, different approaches and characteristics of CSR policy, models of CSR and finally justification for choosing the specific model. The model used as a tool to examine Koukaki's Farm was integrated CSR into strategy. For this reason a qualitative research methodology was conducted designing a questionnaire based on the six dimensions of integrated CSR introduced by Galbreath (2009). The results of this investigation showed that the overall performance of Koukakis Farm S.A. was 33 out of 48, which represents a middle performance. Finally, It was suggested that a CSR officer be hired to improve the way the company build CSR activities into strategy. It was also recommended that attention be given examining many small, middle, and large dairy companies, in order to create a more complete and accurate result relating to the integration of CSR into strategy.
